Duroc Foods was established in 1987 by Dirk Lombard as a sausage casing manufacturing plant. Later, he identified the need to sell frozen chicken on a wholesale basis in bulk to the Spaza Shop Owners. As the business grew it expanded into the distribution of frozen chicken, fish and tripe to main city centres within Limpopo.

In the years thereafter Andries Lombard took over the business from his father and expanded its product range to various platforms within Limpopo. This includes bulk delivery of frozen chicken, -pork, -fish, -seafood and -beef; fresh chicken, fresh beef and food service items to wholesalers, retailers, spaza shops, hotels, lodges, restaurants and caterers.

Duroc Foods distributes to approximately 50 areas within Limpopo. Having a cold storage facility and dry goods warehouse facility in Polokwane with additional storage space in Gauteng Duroc Foods are able to stock and provide a wide number of products to our customers.
